Corbeau Forza: excellent bang-for-the-buck race seat...
The ever-popular Corbeau Forza provides racers with a full competition seat at an unbeatable price. Standard features include tubular steel frame, injection molded foam, integrated full body support, 5-point harness capability, leatherette high-wear patches, and Pirelli webbing. The Forza is designed to fit up to a 36-38" waist and is available in black, red, blue or yellow. The Forza can be purchased on-line at SoloRacer.com.

As reviewed by Team SoloRacer.com racer Alex Shchipkov...
The Corbeau Forza offers the benefits of a race seat while at the same time preventing a racers wallet from bottoming out :-) After having them for about 6 months in my car I can share the following experiences.

The Forza has a respectable level of comfort for a race seat. We have driven up to 400 miles to events and it was not bad at all. The seat has only front to back adjustability via sliding bracket, but we have found it to be acceptable even for everyday driving situations. It is easy to find a comfortable position and then stick with it for the rest of the trip.

One of the very first impressions that I've had after having the seat for a day or two was that I noticed that I didn't need to brace myself anymore against door or center console while taking on and off ramps rather enthusiastically. The seat was doing its job beautifully by keeping me planted in the turns. For autocross or track situations it is even more noticeable by helping to concentrate on driving the line while being held by the seat.

Another benefit was a gain in vertical space. My co-driver noticed it right away since he was the one complaining about the lack of the above. He is 6'2" and with the Forza installed and the helmet on he doesn't have to negotiate the lack of height anymore. If we were to consider this a bit further a lower position of seat also lowers the center of gravity with all the associated benefits.

While not being as light as some carbon fiber seats, the Forza is definitely lighter than our stock BMW seats. With brackets and seat belts attached, it is 12 pounds lighter than stock seat.

To sum this up: if you crave 7 series BMW comfort level, or know nothing about cost/benefit ratio analysis and don't care how much you spend, then get yourself something else. If you want an inexpensive, well made, light race seat then Forza is one of the top choices.

Where to purchase the Corbeau Forza Seat...
